Discord Rules
These are the rules for the Discord server.
Rule #1
Staff reserves the right to enforce these rules at their discretion.
This rule is intended to limit the combative nature of some players who, in the past, have argued over punishments issued to them or a friend when they disagreed with the ruling. If you've been warned, punished, or told to stop doing something, please follow directions.
Don’t endlessly complain about your punishment either, staff follow a specific guideline on punishments, if you think it was a mistake please appeal by opening a ticket in the #tickets channel and press the Appeal button.
If you feel there has been an abuse of power, feel free to open a ticket on Discord in the #tickets channel and press the Player Report button with evidence such as images, videos, or chat logs to report the staff member in question. Staff are carefully chosen through discussion and voting on each application, and we will remove staff members if they abuse their power.
Rule #2
Do not disrespect, harass, or discriminate against others in any way.
We aim to limit toxicity in the community and will crack down on it. The rule of thumb is if something is intended to insult or provoke a reaction from someone, it shouldn't be said.
Harassment is defined by the staff as aggressive pressure or intimidation that makes a player feel stressed or uncomfortable. We enforce this if it is done repeatedly or if the act is destructive.
Discrimination refers to real-life characteristics. We do not tolerate genuine mistreatment based on race, gender, religion, etc.,
You are not required to be friends with people you don't like, but you cannot treat them with disrespect or harass them.
Rule #3
No mature content or sensitive topics in public channels or voice lounges.
Be mindful of who is present in the channel or call with you. The general guideline is to avoid mature, obscene, or sensitive topics because we allow players of all ages to join, even if most of us are adults. If you are asked to change the topic, you are expected to change it or stop discussing it.
Rule #4
Keep posts relevant to the topic of the channel. Non-serious or troll posts in serious forums or channels are subject to moderation.
This rule ensures that people use the proper channels as intended, but it also applies to posting irrelevant content in conversations within a forum or channel. Memes, jokes, or unhelpful posts in serious discussions may be removed and/or result in punishment.
Rule #5
Advertising or attempting to lure players from our server or Discord to another Minecraft server or Discord is prohibited.
This is enforced if you are actively trying to bring players from our server to another server. If you have a Discord server for your group, it is generally okay, but using it to steer people elsewhere will still count as advertising. Simply mentioning a server won't get you in trouble if you're just talking about it, but links and IPs are not allowed.
If you'd like to advertise your streaming channel or YouTube channel, you should ask staff for permission first. We sometimes feature streamers and YouTubers on our Discord.
