Network Rules

These rules take effect across all of our Minecraft servers.

Rule #1

Staff reserves the right to enforce these rules at their discretion.

This rule is intended to limit the combative nature of some players who, in the past, have argued over punishments issued to them or a friend when they disagreed with the ruling. If you've been warned, punished, or told to stop doing something, please follow directions.

Don’t endlessly complain about your punishment either, staff follow a specific guideline on punishments, if you think it was a mistake please appeal by opening a ticket in the #tickets channel and press the Appeal button.

If you feel there has been an abuse of power, feel free to open a ticket on Discord in the #tickets channel and press the Player Report button with evidence such as images, videos, or chat logs to report the staff member in question. Staff are carefully chosen through discussion and voting on each application, and we will remove staff members if they abuse their power.

Rule #2

Do not disrespect, harass, or discriminate against others in any way.

We aim to limit toxicity in the community and will crack down on it. The rule of thumb is if something is intended to insult or provoke a reaction from someone, it shouldn't be said.

Harassment is defined by the staff as aggressive pressure or intimidation that makes a player feel stressed or uncomfortable. We enforce this if it is done repeatedly or if the act is destructive. Actions like spam killing, camping, griefing, or preventing gameplay are considered harassment.

Discrimination refers to real-life characteristics. We do not tolerate genuine mistreatment based on race, gender, religion, etc., but in-game characteristics are fine to use for how you interact with someone, as long as it doesn't break the rules.

You are not required to be friends with people you don't like, but you cannot treat them with disrespect or harass them.

Rule #3

No mature content or sensitive topics in public in the chat, signs, books, or art.

Be mindful of who can read your content. The general guideline is to avoid mature, obscene, or sensitive topics because we allow players of all ages to join, even if most of us are adults. If you are asked to change the topic or remove the content, you are expected to change it, stop discussing it, or remove that content.

Rule #4

Advertising or attempting to lure players from our server to another Minecraft server is prohibited.

This is enforced if you are actively trying to bring players from our server to another server. Simply mentioning a server won't get you in trouble if you're just talking about it, but links and IPs are not allowed.

Rule #5

Do not spam the chat in any way.

We have an anti-spam filter, but it is still against the rules to flood, excessively repeat, or fill the chat with a large amount of text per message.

Rule #6

Do not bypass the swear filter. Toggle it off with /filter.

While swearing is allowed, do not do it excessively, and keep it to a minimum if younger players are around. Bypassing the filter like spacing out letters, using leet-speak, or purposely misspelling it is not allowed and can result in a temporary mute if persistent.

Rule #7

No hacking or cheating in any way including but not limited to unfair modifications, unfair texture packs, or programs to automate actions.

Things like hacked clients are NOT allowed for any reason. Being caught hacking or with unfair modifications or unfair texture packs will result in a permanent IP ban.

Programs or modifications like auto-clickers or macros that automate actions are not allowed. Using programs or modifications to automatically switch to a server after the AFK kicker has moved you to the Hub is also not allowed.

Allowed Modifications

  • Shaders

    • All shaders are allowed.

  • Minimaps

    • Make sure to disable entity radar or use a "fair gameplay" version like Xaero's Minimap mod.

  • World Maps

  • Waypoints

    • Setting waypoints with your Minimap or World Map mod is allowed, but the server cancels the teleport feature most map mods have.

  • Fullbright

    • If you're not a Vampire or a Werewolf in wolf form, this can be useful in case your eyesight isn't so good.

  • Manual Command Macros

    • As long as it doesn't flood the server with packets or commands it is fine to use command macros for things like selling items or transformations.

Rule #8

No exploiting bugs or unintended side effects.

If you are abusing bugs or exploits such as but not limited to duping items, buying and reselling to the NPC shop for a profit due to a price mistake, or gaining experience of any kind extremely fast to the point where it's unfair to anyone not using that method, you will risk being permanently IP banned.

If you find a bug or exploit and properly report it by opening a ticket in the #tickets channel on Discord and clicking on the Bug Report button, it helps us patch these bugs before they cause serious harm to the game.

Hiding bugs or exploits from the staff team will result in a punishment as well.

Rule #9

Do not lag the servers in any way.

If a build, entity amount, or anything lag-inducing is caused by you, you are liable to resolve this to the best of your ability or risk having it deleted for the sake of TPS. If you continuously lag the servers in any way, you risk being temporarily banned or permanently banned.

Remember to minimize redstone use when building automatic farms and do not crowd your mobs by breeding or inducing spawns via a mob grinder of any kind.

Redstone builds, mob grinders, and vehicle-based farms MUST have an off switch. If you fail to make one, you risk it being deleted.
