The general story for the races in Heaven Reborn.

History

Many decades ago, the Humans dominated the Overworld.

It wasn't until the dark infection started turning many Humans into Vampires. Human suffered much turmoil under Vampire terror: leeching off of us, feeding off our animals, and slaughtering villages for their blood. It wasn't until the Vampires Hunters arose and started what is now known as the First Human Inquisition.

When the beastly infection start turning the remaining Humans into Werewolves, they saw the war between Humans and Vampires, so they hid in caves until the fighting was over. It was this time they split among three clans to follow one of the three Alphas: Witherfang, Silvermane, and Bloodmoon. Werewolves then found themselves having a civil war between each Werewolf clan, and then eventually the same Werewolf clan would turn against their Alphas to become the new Alpha.

After much time, Humans developed methods to purify their armor and weapons. They purified their Wooden Stakes and Silver Swords, and developed a unique tracker item that could point out where a Vampire or a Werewolf was located.

Fast forward to now, and the Humans took control again, starting the Second Human Inquisition. But not all Humans were Hunters against the Supernatural. Many of the Pacifist Humans made a new city where all three races can live together in peace. This city was called Unity Reach.

Ancient Portal

For centuries there lived Spirit creatures that roamed around giant islands in the sky. They were considered Angels, and they were made up of 5 ranks: Seraph, Cherub, Virtue, Dominion, and Power. Each one had a specific role in their duties.

When the Humans discovered an ancient portal in the depths of Unity Reach, they activated and immediately Spirit creatures started flying out. It was the first time Humans made contact with Angels.

After learning about the Holy Order of the Angels, some Humans joined their way of life and committed to purity and order. After some became Priests, one rose above all else in this sect. The High Priest was the first one to step through the Ancient Portal and bore his eyes into the beautiful landscape in the Paradise Dimension.

Infected Spirits

The same infections that transformed half of all Humans reached the Angels. The infections corrupted their Spirit and turned them into their Demon counterparts because the infection caused Corruption. The Archangel warned the Angels about leaving their Paradise. Some of them paid the price for it and have lost their grace from the Holy Order.

Now the new Demons roam the Overworld for revenge and vow one day to make it back to the Paradise DImension and take it back for themselves. This is where the new Spirit Wars start.
